There is no assistant in the app today. It is named in the Developer and Everything bundles so you can see where it will land, it is labelled coming soon everywhere it appears, and it is not counted in what those bundles cost. When it does something, this page will say what.
Coming soon
Two, honestly, and neither of them needs this add-on.
The “Open with AI” launchers detect the AI command-line tools on your PATH and hand them the current folder. This is in every install today — it is a shell feature, not part of this add-on.
The add-on's description reserves the AI integration settings. There is no settings page to show you yet.
Cheerfully. We will not charge you for it in the meantime.
In both cases it is marked coming soon and excluded from the price.
An add-on is not sold on its own — a bundle is, and holding the same add-on through two bundles is never charged twice. See the bundles.
Nothing worth switching on. power.assistant is Experimental and has no button; the palette entry it powers is off on the default channel.
Download File Manager, then pick the bundle that grants it.
