Every row in a repository carries its git status, so a folder of twenty checkouts tells you which three have work in them. Stage a changed file and commit it from the file list you were already looking at, without opening anything else. Insiders
Dock a command panel under the file list and it runs in the folder on
screen, not in your home directory. Change folder in the list, and the next tab you open
starts there too. It types a command and shows you the output — no cd
back to where you were, and no full-screen programs yet. Coming soon
Start typing to filter the folder you are in. Search the tree by name when the folder is not enough. Everything the app can do is one keystroke away in the command palette, so you never hunt a menu for a verb you already know the name of.
Search, archives and batch rename come with Productivity, €10 a month.
Delete puts the file in the Trash or the Recycle Bin, on all three operating systems, and there is no setting that quietly turns that into a permanent delete. Copy something onto a file that already exists and the app stops and asks, once, with the sizes and dates of both. Undo walks the last operations back.
That is the app's own window chrome, repainting as you pick.
Two are free with the file manager. The rest come with Personalization, €5 a month, along with the theme studio — build your own, save it as a file, hand it to someone else. An AI theme assistant is Coming soon.

Version information as published on 6 September 2026. Links are written into this page when it is deployed, so they change when the site does.
We have not signed the installers yet, so your computer will not recognise them and will say so. Check the SHA-256 first if you want to know the file is the one we built.
Windows. SmartScreen says "Windows protected your PC". Click More info, then Run anyway. If you would rather not, right-click the file, choose Properties, tick Unblock, and run it normally.
macOS. Gatekeeper refuses the package because it is not signed or
notarised. Right-click the .pkg, choose Open, and
confirm at the prompt. If macOS will not offer that, run
xattr -d com.apple.quarantine ~/Downloads/<file>.pkg in a
terminal first — that removes the quarantine flag from that one file and nothing else.
Linux. The .deb is unsigned, so
apt will not verify it. Install it with
sudo dpkg -i <file>.deb, or unpack the
.tar.gz anywhere and run it from there.
The macOS one-line command installs an unsigned, unnotarised build and clears the Gatekeeper quarantine flag itself. It prints exactly what it is doing before it does it.

Unsigned builds straight from the trunk, for early testers. No auto-update yet, no signing yet — see above for the normal downloads.
File Manager ships on three update streams. Stable is the default for new installs; Insiders and Dev get the same build earlier, with less soak behind it.
