Prove the file arrived.
Hash a file, or a folder of them, and compare against the checksum you were given. Write the sidecar file yourself, verify one someone else wrote, and see the whole batch as a table rather than a wall of console output. There is a docked command panel in the window too.

Check one file.
Hash it from the right-click menu or its properties, in CRC32, MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256, SHA-512 or XXH64, and compare against the string you were sent.
Write a checksum file, or verify one.
Sidecars are read and written in the usual layout, and verification tells you which entries matched and which did not.
Do the whole folder at once.
Select a batch, get a table of results you can read down.
How you come by it
An add-on is not sold on its own — a bundle is, and holding the same add-on through two bundles is never charged twice. See the bundles.
In the app, off until you move the slider
A fresh install hides anything below the default bar on this add-on’s Minimum readiness slider in Settings › Features. These are in the app today.
- The command panel. A shell docked in the window, running commands in the folder you are looking at and printing what they say. Not a full terminal yet: no prompt, no colour, and no full-screen programs. It is in the app and below the default bar, so you turn it on in Settings › Features under IT.
Nothing announced
IT is part of the file manager.
Download File Manager, then pick the bundle that grants it.
