Read the file without opening the IDE.
Select a source file and it appears in the preview pane, highlighted, with the language worked out from the extension or from the contents when the extension lies. When “just fix the one line” is the whole job, you can edit it there and save.

The editor writes back in the same encoding it read, so a UTF-8 file with a BOM stays a UTF-8 file with a BOM.
Open the folder in your IDE.
The launchers find the editors on your PATH and offer the ones you actually have.
The colours are checked, not eyeballed. The highlighting palette is measured for contrast rather than picked by eye.
How you come by it
An add-on is not sold on its own — a bundle is, and holding the same add-on through two bundles is never charged twice. See the bundles.

Nothing. The viewer is Stable and on by default.
